The Russian investigation has placed President Donald Trump, who often boasts about his ability to “Drain the Swamp,” so neck deep in shit that he’s decided he’s dealing not with a swamp but a sewer.

Earlier this morning, Trump tweeted, “Drain the Swamp should be changed to Drain the Sewer – it’s actually much worse than anyone ever thought, and it begins with the Fake News!”

And as us normal folks know, it’s not the media folks’ fault that they report on the news that Trump and his crew tells them.

Take for instance Donald Trump’s confessions to the New York Times about James Comey and Jeff Sessions.

Donald Trump told the New York Times that he fired former FBI Director James Comey because of the Russian investigation, and that he never would have nominated Jeff Sessions to become the next U.S. attorney general if he (Trump) knew he (Sessions) would have recused himself from the Russian investigation.

To make matters worse, Trump is hinting that Sessions will have the same fate as Comey.

Not only are there reports that Trump is about to fire Sessions, but Trump confirmed those reports with his tweet questioning why Sessions isn’t prosecuting former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for her alleged wrongdoings.

Trump tweeted, “So why aren’t’ the Committees and investigators, and of course our beleaguered A.G., looking into Crooked Hillary’s crimes and Russia relations?”

Then there’s Donald Trump Sr.’ eldest son and namesake, Donald Trump Jr. Last Monday, ol’ Junior there tweet told on himself about his meeting, which he first denied having, with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya.

Therefore, all of the smoking guns on Russia have come from Donald Trump and his crew.

Trump and his crew's telling on themselves is why events like the “Made in America Week” don’t get any attention.

Unfortunately for Trump and his crew, they are the shit preventing his agenda from getting through.

Basically, it’s hard to drain the shitter when you are the shitter.
